Pacific Pines has a great State school called Pacific Pines State High School and a Primary School of the same name. There is also a private school Jubilee Primary School. DRIVEable Driving School has a lot of year 11 and year 12 students from Pacific Pines State High School, and with all students passing their Driving Tests. Usually the students choose the Department of Transport at either Southport or Helensvale TMR.
The streets are great to practice maneuvers as they are nice and wide.
Pacific Pines is quite hilly so great for practicing hill starts and using your gears. Its a family suburb with leafy green areas and hills to get stunning views and breezes. Pacific Pines has several open spaces and reserves.
If your lucky you may get to see the odd kangaroo and koala. That's always a treat for our Driving Instructors.
Many of the open spaces or parks have playgrounds for little children, and picnic areas for the entire family. And for the big kids there is The Helensvale Golf Course a short Drive away. There is also a number of sports fields for a kick-a-bout. And if you want to get a bit more serious then head over to the Brockman Sports Oval which houses the Pacific Pines Football Club.
There are plenty of shopping and places to eat. Coles, Woolworths and specialty shops. Cafes and restaurants. The Pacific Pines Tavern is a lively place which hosts live music.
Pacific Pines has easy access to the motorway, the M1, and from there or take a side road to the major Theme Parks. Movie World, Sea World, Wet 'n' Wild, Dream World and White Water World.
The hub of the Gold Coast with its mega Shopping Centres & entertainment, and Brisbane CBD, is a short drive on the M1. Perfect for practicing motorway driving for our students.
